Tinplates
Tinplate, essentially thin steel sheet coated with a layer of tin, combines the strength of steel with the corrosion resistance and aesthetic appeal of tin. Coating Weight:
TFS originally referred to any type of steel plate suitable for such use, but later specifically to thin steel plate treated with chromate electrolysis. The bottom layer of the sheet is chromium metal, and the top layer is covered with a thin film made of chromium’s hydration oxide.
TFS is a specialized alternative to tinplate, commonly used for ends, caps, crowns, and aerosol cans. Resistant to sulphur staining and corrosion, TFS is an economical and durable choice for specific packaging needs. We supply Coated Tin Free Steel as per customers requirements.
Blackplate serves as the base steel for tinning or other coating processes. With applications ranging from industrial containers to re-rolling, it is an essential raw material that supports flexible downstream uses. We supply Coated and Laminated Black Plates as per customers’ requirements.
